What is Cuban Coffee?
Cuban coffee is unique in its roast, method of
brewing, and the drink itself. The beans are roasted at a higher
temperature for a shorter period of time. This results in a deep rich
brew without any burnt or charcoal taste. Our beans are custom roasted
for us at our secret south-of-the-border location. Cuban coffee is
traditionally served sweetened with caramelized sugar. Try it once, and
you'll be hooked.
What is Mexican Chocolate?
We use real Ibarra Chocolate from
Jalisco, Mexico. It comes in a cake form, which we grind to a powder.
Mexican chocolate is spiced with cinnamon and vanilla for an unusual,
delicious flavor. It is heaven in a cup. Beware of places that serve
fake Mexican chocolate, it's never as good!
What is a Batido?
Batidos are Cuban fruit shakes made with fresh fruit,
ice, and milk. Because we use real fruit, not a mix or syrup, they are
extra delicious.
Why don't my Cubanos at home taste like yours?
Because home equipment
does not brew as hot or as consistently as commercial equipment, it's
really hard to duplicate cubanos and cortaditos at home.
Will I go to Hell if I drink other coffee?
Yes.
